Casa Palomeque

Located in the Historic Center of Merida, Casa Palomeque is an exquisite house from the 19th century that was built during the time of Porfirio Díaz. Palomeque Family was very prominent since Colonial times, and in the nineteenth century they had their prime time along with the brothers José María and Manuel Palomeque Solís, the latter, author of the Yucatecan Anthem. This private residence was carefully restored, preserving centuries of elegance. Casa Palomeque was built with French architectural elements.
